Well, as the saying goes; it is never too late! Some of you may have noticed that we have a new stats system for TF2 for our myGSN community servers. The new system presents a lot of new features for all you stats whores out there.
New categories have been added to the daily awards, such as Axe-O-Mania or Absolutely Stunning, in an effort to include the recently added unlockables for the different classes. These awards are attributed to the best player of that specific category for the day. You can find the overview of these awards everyday at the bottom of the server’s overview page or on the stats tab.
The new stats also feature weapons and actions statistics. Each section presents an overview of the past two weeks.
The weapons section shows stats on the each of the individual weapons such as the number of kills each one has done. You can even click on a specific weapon and see who kills other players the most with it.
The action section covers any action such as kill-assist and the number of times it was performed on the server. You can also click on a specific action and see who does it the most.
All these new stats are available both in lifetime and quarterly stats for our servers; although, as of April 01, 2009, the lifetime has been reset to include all of these new additions. You can also view the same stats on an individual gamer by searching for the person you are looking for.
In addition, another new feature that is very important to mention is the new chat log available for everyone to see. Basically, it records any chat on the servers in a log. Not only will this make our admins job easier, but will also provide you with the opportunity to see what is happening on our servers all the time.
